and Tasty Treats

It really is the little things in life, for myself fresh flowers always make me happy. A much-needed treat I never deny myself. They instantly make my home feel lighter and brighter…. and tulips for spring is my favorite kind of home bling (oh, look I am a poet!) Today my flower lady threw in a few extra flowers for me which just made me feel so special. For a personal trainer always on the go, this week has been kind of slow… (again with the rhyme) Spring break is happening and clients are on vacation, you would think its a nice break, but I so love being busy & I don’t know what to do with myself.  While I had some free time, I decided to come up with a new healthy snack for myself and my clients. I am sharing it all with you & hope you like it (pictured above).

What You Need:

Raisin Toast, (a healthy brand or whatever kind of bread you prefer)

Plain Greek Yogurt

Honey (to drizzle under or on top of the yogurt)

Blueberries

Assemble like above and enjoy! Trust me it’s super yum!

XOXO

 of Fine Arts

San Francisco is full of beautiful hidden treasures… this one is not so much hidden as you can see it  very clearly from the street in the Marina. You wonder if you left City of San Francisco by stepping through some crazy ass time loop and ended up in Italy or Rome, or Greece (or is that just what this silly blond thought?) Anyway, it was a beautiful day in the city and my BFF is the best tour guide a California girl can have of her own city. So If you come to San Francisco put this one on your list, you will not be disappointed. This was not a day of taking pictures of my fabulous outfit it just so happens I usually look pretty damn cool (wink, wink..) I can’t help but only focus on the amazing art when I am somewhere this incredibly beautiful. The pictures are from my iPhone with light distortion but to me that is what makes them even more magical. The last two shots above are from the hangar and as you can see I was having a blast with my bestie and that beautiful aqua door..seriously though I wanted to see what was behind there!

As Sunset magazine stated “perched on the edge of the world, overlooking the Pacific” Steep Ravine is all about location, bare bones and pure beauty. I am already spoiled living in California, but a client wanted to thank me for helping her shed weight and become stronger so this is the way she thanked me with an incredible stay at this amazing place, thus spoiling me even more! What do you do while here?? Well my love and I enjoyed watching the whales, dolphins, waves, sunsets,  almost falling over rocks down to the beach (oh, wait.. that was just me) Hiking, you have about 6,300 acres of surrounding redwood groves to frolic in.

These few photos were all taken with my phone (will post a few more on Instagram) hope you enjoy them as much I enjoyed this beautiful place and to my fellow fashionistas don’t even worry about what you are wearing or what you look like…. for here you will always be second because Mother Nature always has the best outfit!

I definitely lost myself in these alleyways. San Francisco, (love my city) the Mission District  which is home to these amazing art alleyways  (all throughout the Mission) Balmy and Clarion Alley are the most popular with unique stories to tell.  CAMP was inspired by Balmy alley and at the time two of the founders were living in Clarion alley.

There is only a few photos of myself as I was so focused on the art that day (what was I thinking?) & I am already on top of the newest trends according to Vogue with my sophisticated boot cut jeans (Hudson). Anyway, don’t focus on me… just the amazing art! Please note yourself: I had on open toe heels which you can’t see in my photo..  open toe shoes and dirty alleyways not a good mix (ick) I stepped on a chicken bone & all kinds of other things I don’t want to share… but don’t let that stop you,  If you make it to the city it’s a must see! Big thanks to my best friend for taking awesome photos of me!

“Screw the 14th, I love him everyday”

I do love this month for all the vibrant colors, especially the pinks and that ravishing red, Oh, and all that phony love that gets thrown around.  I tend to think that Valentines Day is for children and our best girlfriends, of course its fun to do sweet things for each other. Otherwise I call this day a Hallmark holiday. For some this day may have real meaning and good for you…that is super sweet, but I expect to be loved all year-long (and I am..thank goodness)

A wrap up of my crazy week, tulips and coffee in my newly re-lined Louis Vuitton vintage bucket bag (bad idea I know). Raspberry macaroons, a lovely gift from a client and as you can see waiting to eat them was not in the cards for me.  The sun shines bright today and the weather is will be close to 75 degrees.  I am loving the light pouring in our tiny home this morning, as I lounge around in my favorite lace Aerie bralette… to all of you, have a super sweet weekend.

XOXO
