and Tasty Treats

It really is the little things in life, for myself fresh flowers always make me happy. A much-needed treat I never deny myself. They instantly make my home feel lighter and brighter…. and tulips for spring is my favorite kind of home bling (oh, look I am a poet!) Today my flower lady threw in a few extra flowers for me which just made me feel so special. For a personal trainer always on the go, this week has been kind of slow… (again with the rhyme) Spring break is happening and clients are on vacation, you would think its a nice break, but I so love being busy & I don’t know what to do with myself.  While I had some free time, I decided to come up with a new healthy snack for myself and my clients. I am sharing it all with you & hope you like it (pictured above).

What You Need:

Raisin Toast, (a healthy brand or whatever kind of bread you prefer)

Plain Greek Yogurt

Honey (to drizzle under or on top of the yogurt)

Blueberries

Assemble like above and enjoy! Trust me it’s super yum!

XOXO

As Sunset magazine stated “perched on the edge of the world, overlooking the Pacific” Steep Ravine is all about location, bare bones and pure beauty. I am already spoiled living in California, but a client wanted to thank me for helping her shed weight and become stronger so this is the way she thanked me with an incredible stay at this amazing place, thus spoiling me even more! What do you do while here?? Well my love and I enjoyed watching the whales, dolphins, waves, sunsets,  almost falling over rocks down to the beach (oh, wait.. that was just me) Hiking, you have about 6,300 acres of surrounding redwood groves to frolic in.

These few photos were all taken with my phone (will post a few more on Instagram) hope you enjoy them as much I enjoyed this beautiful place and to my fellow fashionistas don’t even worry about what you are wearing or what you look like…. for here you will always be second because Mother Nature always has the best outfit!

XOXO

I definitely lost myself in these alleyways. San Francisco, (love my city) the Mission District  which is home to these amazing art alleyways  (all throughout the Mission) Balmy and Clarion Alley are the most popular with unique stories to tell.  CAMP was inspired by Balmy alley and at the time two of the founders were living in Clarion alley.

There is only a few photos of myself as I was so focused on the art that day (what was I thinking?) & I am already on top of the newest trends according to Vogue with my sophisticated boot cut jeans (Hudson). Anyway, don’t focus on me… just the amazing art! Please note yourself: I had on open toe heels which you can’t see in my photo..  open toe shoes and dirty alleyways not a good mix (ick) I stepped on a chicken bone & all kinds of other things I don’t want to share… but don’t let that stop you,  If you make it to the city it’s a must see! Big thanks to my best friend for taking awesome photos of me!

XOXO
